Avast Free Review Windows

Avast review windows for free

The new interface of Avast is well designed, with clear delineation between its various elements as well as simple blue icons (with orange accents derived from the logo of the company) to distinguish the suite’s capabilities. On the homepage, you can run an examination, activate the VPN and get shortcuts to a few not-so-useful tools for optimizing your system. However, the fact that most of the other features offered by Avast are hidden within the “Explore” tab can be a bit frustrating.

Installation is simple, and you’re not pushed to choose the free version. However, the full scan will reveal “advanced issues” that can only be addressed by paying for premium security. It’s a little shady and especially when the Resolve button leads you to a webpage www.antivirus-software.org/combining-virtual-data-room-with-external-data-sources that asks you to sign for Avast’s Premium security plan. Avast also sells user information as revealed in a 2020 article by Which? magazine.
